For every Nigerian, every member of the diaspora, and every international observer who deserves to know the truth about the man occupying Aso Rock.

IDENTITY & REAL NAME

1. His name is not Bola Ahmed Tinubu. By multiple credible accounts documented by Professor Farooq Kperogi and confirmed by the late Yinka Odumakin, his original birth name was Amoda Lamidi Sangodele.

2. He is from Iragbiji in Osun State — not Lagos. Iragbiji is the headquarters of Boripe Local Government Area. This is where he was born and where his biological family remains.

3. He has zero blood relationship with the Tinubu family of Lagos. He adopted their name. He has no consanguineal affiliation with them whatsoever.

4. Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji is not his biological mother. She was his surrogate and patron. He attached himself to her name, her status, and her connections to reinvent himself.

5. His older biological sister is the mother of former Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola. His Iragbiji roots run directly through a former governor's family — this is not rumour, it is verifiable lineage.

6. When his biological mother died in Iragbiji, he did not attend her funeral. He stayed away because his presence would have exposed who he truly is. The late Yinka Odumakin documented this personally.

7. When his 94-year-old biological brother died, he again did not attend. A man who will not bury his own mother or brother has chosen his fabricated identity over his own blood.

8. Pastor Tunde Bakare, a former presidential running mate and man of God, publicly confirmed from the pulpit that Tinubu's current name is not his original name and that he has disowned his biological parents.

AGE & DATE OF BIRTH

9. He officially claims his date of birth is March 29, 1952. This figure appears nowhere consistently across his own documents.

10. Chicago State University's academic records — released by court order — list his date of birth as March 29, 1954. That is two years different from his official claim.

11. His own undergraduate admissions application to Chicago State University records yet a third birth date: March 29, 1955. Three official documents. Three different birth years.

12. The Foundation for Investigative Journalism reviewed all documents and concluded plainly: Tinubu is either 68, 69, 71 — or older.

13. Accounts from Iragbiji place his actual birth year as 1935, which would make him not 72 but closer to 90 years old. A man who cannot give Nigeria a consistent year of birth is a man who does not want Nigeria to know how old he is or who he is.

EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATES & FORGERY

14. The certificate he submitted to INEC to support his presidential candidacy and the certificate released by Chicago State University in response to a court subpoena are materially different documents.

15. One certificate identifies the holder as male, born 1952. Another released by the same university identifies the holder as female, born 1954. Same university. Same name. Different gender. Different birth year.

16. The two certificates carry different dates of issue, different university logos, different grammatical construction on their face, and different signatures. These are not typos. These are different documents.

17. A transcript from Southwest College, Chicago, bearing the name "Tinubu Bola A" belongs to a female student — the opposite gender to the man who presented it to INEC as part of his presidential qualification.

18. His academic records have been in controversy since 1999, when he first became Governor of Lagos State and could not produce verifiable school certificates. He was already governor with constitutional immunity before anyone could charge him.

19. His camp's explanation for all discrepancies was a single phrase: clerical error at the university. A clerical error that changed gender, birth year, logos, signatures, issue dates, and grammatical construction simultaneously. No reasonable person believes this.

THE DEA — AMERICAN FEDERAL COURT RECORD

20. In 1993, a U.S. federal investigation linked over $2 million across multiple bank accounts held in Bola Tinubu's name to the proceeds of heroin trafficking by Chicago drug kingpins Adegboyega Mueez Akande and Abiodun Agbele.

21. An $80,000 wire transfer from Akande — who was already under active DEA and FBI surveillance — directly into Tinubu's First Heritage Bank account triggered the investigation.

22. IRS Special Agent Kevin Moss submitted a sworn affidavit to the court establishing probable cause that funds in Tinubu's accounts at First Heritage Bank and Citibank represented narcotics proceeds.

23. Tinubu initially contested the forfeiture, claiming the funds legitimately belonged to him, his wife Oluremi Tinubu, and Alhaja Mogaji. He lost that argument.

24. On September 15, 1993, U.S. District Judge John A. Nordberg ordered $460,000 held in Bola Tinubu's First Heritage Bank account forfeited to the United States Government.

25. Judge Nordberg's order stated explicitly that the funds represented the proceeds of narcotics trafficking or were involved in financial transactions in violation of U.S. law. This is a judicial finding, not an allegation.

26. At the time of the investigation, Tinubu was employed at Mobil Oil Nigeria as a Treasurer, earning approximately $2,500 per month. Mobil Oil representatives confirmed to investigators that his position did not involve transferring large sums between financial institutions. He had millions in his accounts on a $2,500 monthly salary.

27. He forfeited $460,000 to avoid going to trial. He was not acquitted. He was not exonerated. He paid to make the case go away.

28. His supporters have repeatedly tried to describe the forfeiture as a tax matter. Atiku Abubakar's camp and multiple legal analysts confirmed this is false. The court order explicitly references narcotics trafficking.

29. In 2025, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell ruled that the FBI and DEA's blanket refusal to confirm or deny the existence of further records on Tinubu was neither logical nor plausible, and ordered the agencies to release their files. That order stands.

30. The CIA, FBI, and DEA jointly filed a statement opposing the release of those unredacted files, citing national security concerns. Three of the most powerful law enforcement and intelligence agencies in the world are fighting to keep his files sealed. Ask yourself why.

THE GUINEA PASSPORT & PERJURY

31. In April 2023, investigative journalist David Hundeyin published images of a Guinean diplomatic passport bearing the name Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his photograph, issued October 2015, expiring October 2020 — while his close ally Alpha Condé was president of Guinea.

32. Tinubu's camp was silent for days after the passport surfaced. They had no answer.

33. On his INEC Form EC-9, sworn and submitted on June 14, 2022, in support of his presidential candidacy, Tinubu was asked directly: have you voluntarily acquired citizenship of any other country? He ticked NO — under oath.

34. That sworn answer is a lie. The Guinean diplomatic passport proves he held citizenship of another country. You cannot hold a diplomatic passport of a nation without that nation recognising you as a citizen or special status national.

35. The Presidential Election Petition Appeal Court of Nigeria confirmed that the expired passport was sufficient to establish dual citizenship, which he had denied when asked by INEC. This is a finding of an appellate court — not an accusation.

36. Multiple civil society organisations filed suits in federal court arguing that the non-disclosure of his Guinean citizenship in his INEC Form EC-9 constitutes criminal perjury. The police did not act. The system closed around him.

37. His defenders argued that dual citizenship is permitted under the Nigerian constitution. That argument actually concedes the point — it admits he held it. The crime was not the passport. The crime was swearing under oath that it did not exist.

38. Passport expiry does not cancel citizenship. A passport is a travel document. Citizenship is a legal status. They are not the same thing. This basic legal distinction destroys the only defence his camp ever offered.

THE PATTERN

39. Fake name. Documented.

40. Fake parentage. Documented.

41. Fake state of origin. Documented.

42. Inconsistent date of birth — at least three different official versions. Documented.

43. Certificate discrepancies including gender and birth year. Documented.

44. $460,000 forfeited to the U.S. government in a narcotics trafficking case. Documented.

46. Sworn denial of dual citizenship to Nigeria's electoral commission. Documented.

His grandfather, Chief Sekin Amachree, participated in the 1958 pre-independence Constitutional Conference in London. His name is in the permanent archives of the United Nations. His record requires no invention, no fabrication, and no surrogate mother.

He knew his name. He knew his age. He knew his people. He buried his dead.

The comparison is not just wrong. It is an obscenity.

IBADAN— Suspected gunmen who abducted 39 students and seven teachers in Ahoro Esinele community, Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State are now said to be in touch with the state government for a ransom of an undisclosed amount.

The incident has left teacher Michael Oyedokun reportedly beheaded.

This came as the Board of Trustees, BoT, of the factional Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, led by Senator Adolphus Wabara and members of the party’s interim National Working Committee, NWC, led by Kabiru Turaki, yesterday, called for a comprehensive overhaul of Nigeria’s security architecture following recent bandit attacks in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Similarly, Yoruba Nation activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, yesterday disclosed that he is still awaiting approval from the Federal Government to formally commence operations of his security outfit, Iru Ekun Security Network, as part of efforts to flush out criminal elements from forests across the South-West.

KIDNAPPERS DEMAND RANSOM

The sources disclosed that indirect negotiations are ongoing, adding that the amount demanded by the abductors was being kept as a top secret.

It was further gathered that security agencies have deployed a police helicopter to be on standby in what a source described as “an area of interest”, just as military jets are said to be making daily sorties over the forests.

Asked whether the kidnappers have mentioned a specific figure, the source said: “The latest on kidnappers is that they have made a demand, but the amount is still being kept under wraps. Indirect negotiations are ongoing.”

Another source disclosed that “families of victims are continuing to mount pressure on the Oyo State Government to meet the kidnappers’ demand.”

Giving details on efforts by the state government and security agencies, the source said: “Police helicopter is on standby; military jets fly sorties over the forests daily.

“Oyo State government, Police, Military, DSS are coordinating efforts to secure the release of the kidnap victims.”

Another source, however, assured that the “state government will not spare resources just to get the victims back. Human lives are more important than money and ego.”

FAMILY OF BEHEADED TEACHER DEMANDS BODY FOR BURIAL

Also, the family of the beheaded school teacher, late Mr Oyedokun Olugbade, yesterday, demanded the recovery of their son’s remains for proper burial.

The family, in a letter to President Bola Tinubu through their lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, said: “We write to formally bring to the attention of President Bola Tinubu the tragic kidnapping, brutal murder and beheading of the late Mr Oyedokun Olugbade, one of the abducted teachers of Community High School, Ohoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State by suspected terrorists on May 15, 2026.

“Despite widespread national outrage regarding the death of the late Mr Olugbade, his remains are yet to be seen or recovered. In this circumstance, we respectfully appeal for your urgent intervention to direct the relevant security and intelligence agencies towards locating and recovering his body, so that his family may be afforded the solemn opportunity to conduct a dignified burial and rescue other victims still in captivity.”

PDP BoT, INTERIM NWC CALL FOR SECURITY OVERHAUL

Following recent bandit attacks in the Oriire council area, Senator Wabara and members of the PDP interim NWC, led by Mr Turaki, yesterday, called for a comprehensive overhaul of Nigeria’s security architecture.

The delegation met behind closed doors with Governor Makinde at the Governor’s Office in Ibadan, where they discussed the security situation in the state and expressed concern over the incidents.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Turaki said the visit was to commiserate with the state government and people of Oyo State over the recent attacks.

He said: “The leadership of the PDP, including members of the NWC, the Interim National Working Committee, and the Board of Trustees (BoT), came to commiserate with the government and people of Oyo State over the unfortunate incidents that recently occurred in Oriire Local Government and some parts of Ibadan.

“We believe the issue of security is fundamental and must be taken very seriously. We are aware of the efforts the governor has consistently made to ensure the safety of the people of Oyo State and to protect lives and property across the state.

“Seeing incidents like these happen despite the enormous resources the governor has committed to security is deeply concerning, especially as the election period approaches.”

He also urged the Federal Government to urgently reform the country’s security structure, describing the current arrangement as ineffective.

“Our message to the Federal Government is that Nigeria’s security architecture urgently needs to be overhauled. This has become long overdue.

“It is contradictory for a governor to be referred to as the Chief Security Officer of a state while having no direct control over the security agencies operating within that state.

“You cannot imagine a situation where a governor convenes a Security Council meeting, decisions are taken, and yet the Commissioner of Police or military commanders must still seek clearance from Abuja before acting. By the time approvals are obtained, significant damage may already have been done.”

WE’RE READY TO DISLODGE CRIMINALS FROM SOUTH-WEST FORESTS— Igboho

On his part, Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Igboho, promised : “We have submitted all the required documents for our registered security firm, Iru Ekun Security Network and are only waiting for the Federal Government approval, which will be granted soon.

“We are absolutely ready to collaborate with the Police, Department of State Service, DSS, Nigeria Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, and other relevant stakeholders in the security sector to flush out terrorists, kidnappers, bandits, and other hoodlums, who are threatening the peace and safety of our people, most especially in rural communities.

“Besides, I want to state that we are also ready to comply with the new Executive Order issued by Governor Makinde to regulate the activities of private security concerns.”

GROUP WORRIED OVER INSECURITY IN ONDO

Meanwhile, the Ondo Redemption Front, ORF, has faulted the administration of Lucky Aiyedatiwa, accusing the state government of poor governance, insecurity, infrastructural decay and lack of clear developmental direction.

The Chairman of the group, Ayodeji Ologun and co-Chairman, Mogbojuri Kayode, in a statement, said it was compelled to speak out over what it described as the continued neglect of critical sectors and the worsening welfare of residents across Ondo State.

The group said its interventions were not politically motivated but driven by a commitment to accountability and public interest.

According to the ORF, despite repeated calls by residents for purposeful leadership, the Aiyedatiwa administration had failed to address major concerns relating to insecurity, healthcare, education, infrastructure, welfare and transparency.

The group alleged that governance in the state had become stagnant, claiming there were “no major projects reflecting serious developmental ambition or strategic planning.”

It further accused Governor Aiyedatiwa of prioritising politics and image management above governance, saying the administration was characterised by “motion without movement” and “activities without impact.”

On security, the group expressed concern over increasing cases of kidnapping, violent attacks and criminal activities in several communities, especially in rural areas.

It said: “Many farmers could no longer safely access their farmlands”, warning that the situation could “worsen food shortages and economic hardship in the state.”

“The silence and slow response of the government to these growing threats further reinforce the perception of a leadership disconnected from the realities confronting the people,” the statement read.

The ORF called for urgent action to tackle insecurity, visible infrastructural projects across the three senatorial districts, improved healthcare facilities, better welfare for education workers and greater transparency in public spending.

The group also urged Governor Aiyedatiwa to “place governance above politics” and demonstrate the leadership expected of his office.

“The people of Ondo State deserve leadership that inspires confidence, protects lives, develops infrastructure, strengthens institutions, and prioritises the welfare of the people above political survival,” it added

 WHY DID IRONSI NOT CHARGE THE JANUARY COUP PLOTTERS TO COURT?

I have consistently wondered why the young coup plotters were never properly tried for their crimes. The law was already there in the books. It was called treason. That same law had already been tested earlier when politicians were prosecuted and imprisoned for conspiracy. Now, some officers had gone beyond conspiracy and actually carried out the substantive offense, an armed coup that resulted in bloodshed and the assassination of political leaders and senior military officers.

Why then were they not tried?

Apart from treason under the Criminal Code, military law itself clearly prescribed severe consequences for mutiny and armed insurrection. Yet, the coup plotters were not charged before any court or court-martial.

I have considered the following possible reasons:

1. It Was Nigeria’s First Military Coup

This was the first military coup in Nigeria’s history. There was no established precedent for handling such a situation. The Ironsi government may simply have been uncertain about what to do.

2. The Coup Plotters Were Surprisingly Popular

In the typical absurdity of Nigerian society, many people viewed the young officers as heroes rather than criminals. The politicians they overthrew were deeply unpopular and widely regarded as corrupt. Trying and executing officers who were receiving public sympathy may have appeared politically risky.

Even today, one still sees how supporters of separatist or revolutionary figures insist that such individuals are innocent regardless of the legal implications of their actions.

3. The Killing of Senior Military Officers Changed Everything

Perhaps if only politicians had been killed, the outrage might not have escalated the way it did. But the coup also involved the killing of senior military officers, men who were respected colleagues and superiors within the armed forces. That created deep anger within the military establishment itself and helped lay the foundation for the counter-coup that followed.

4. Ironsi Himself Benefited From the Coup

Ironsi emerged as Head of State from the chaos created by the failed coup. In many ways, he became a beneficiary of the actions of the coup plotters. It may therefore have appeared morally awkward or politically contradictory for him to enjoy the benefits produced by the coup while simultaneously prosecuting and executing those who made it possible.

That contradiction may have created a serious moral and political dilemma for him.

Yet, one cannot help wondering whether history might have been different if Ironsi had immediately court-martialled everyone involved, dismissed them from the army, and either imprisoned or executed them according to law. Perhaps the counter-coup might not have occurred. Perhaps the growing perception of ethnic favoritism might have been reduced.

Ironsi’s indecision ultimately cost him his life and plunged Nigeria into a catastrophe from which the country has never fully recovered.

Indeed, it was probably to avoid repeating what later military regimes saw as Ironsi’s fatal mistake that virtually every failed coup afterward resulted in executions by firing squad. Once it was done after the Dimka coup attempt, it became the established pattern, repeated in the Vatsa case, the Orkar coup attempt, and other alleged conspiracies.

If not for international pressure and the intervention of the South African government, Obasanjo himself might have been executed under Abacha. And if not for Abacha’s sudden death, General Diya and others accused in the alleged 1997 coup plot would almost certainly have faced execution as well.

President Federation Cup: Kwara United on revenge mission against Akwa United

 Kwara United technical adviser Tunde Sanni has declared that the team is on a mission of revenge in their President Federation Cup clash with Akwa United.

The Harmony Boys are set to face Akwa United in the quarter-finals of the President Federation Cup in Enugu on Wednesday.

DAILY POST recalls that Akwa United have defeated Kwara United twice in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.

Kwara United head into the encounter in buoyant mood following Sunday’s 4-0 thrashing of Lobi Stars.

“It’s time to show Akwa United that we are ready to avenge our NPFL loss,” Sanni told the club’s media.

Kwara United have moved up to 12th position on the league table following the victory.

They will take on Rivers United in their next league fixture.

BREAKING: Over 10 people shot dead as gunmen attack popular bar in Benue

No fewer than 10 people have been shot dead after unknown gunmen attacked a popular bar near the Okada Office in Akpehe, Makurdi, the capital of Benue State.

DAILY POST learnt that the gunmen, believed to be suspected cultists, stormed the area at around 8 pm and opened fire on patrons at the bar, leaving more than 10 people dead and several others injured.

The area has since been deserted, as the gunmen continued to fire indiscriminately.

Super Falcons’s Uchendu nominated for Nantes Player of the Month

 

Super Falcons defender Chinaza Uchendu has been nominated for Nantes Féminines Player of the Month for March.

Uchendu was outstanding for Nantes during the month.

The 27-year-old featured in three of Nantes’ four league games during the period under review.

It is the first time she has been nominated for the award.

Goalkeeper Emily Burns, defender Maureen Cosson, and midfielder Andrea Recio are the other players nominated.

Uchendu joined Nantes from Turkish side Galatasaray last summer.
